April 8, 2025, 10:30AM-12:00 PM. Mack will be presenting on Landlord-Tenant Law in Federal Region 10 (Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington) at the Pacific Northwest Regional Council (PNRC) Conference for National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials in Spokane, Washington.
April 10, 2025, 8:00 AM-12:00PM. Mack will be presenting on Evictions and Fair Housing Law common issues that arises in the property management context, at the Washington State Multi-Family Housing Association’s Fair Housing & Legal Seminar, in Spokane Valley, Washington.
April 15-16, 2025. Mack will conduct four presentations on April 15 and 16 for the 2025 Washington Affordable Housing Management Convention in Seattle, including Fair Housing Law Basics, Advanced Fair Housing Law, Eviction Overview and Best Practices, and 2025 Washington State Legislative Update.
May 2, 2025, 11:30 AM. Mack will present on behalf of the Idaho Bar Association’s Lawyers Assistance Program at the 2025 Spring New Lawyer Admittee Program regarding mental health and substance abuse issues in the legal profession in Boise, Idaho.
May 22, 2025. Mack will present on evictions best practices for the 2025 Washington Multifamily Housing Association’s annual online Legal Symposium. Time forthcoming.
Mack Mayo is a Shareholder and Housing Law Practice Group Chair at Paine Hamblen. He represents businesses in the real estate space, including residential and commercial landlords, non-profit and mission-based housing providers, governmental agencies (housing authorities), brokerages, and property management companies. Having successfully prosecuted thousands of residential evictions, Mack manages large-scale unlawful detainer portfolios for his clients. He has also successfully defended Fair Housing Act violation claims, including overseeing strategic responses to investigations conducted by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Washington State Human Rights Commission. Mack also has extensive class action litigation experience, having been appointed by state and federal courts as class counsel in more than a dozen cases, and has successfully worked with the Washington State Innocence Project to free three innocent men from prison and successfully sue the State of Washington for wrongful conviction. Mack enjoys spending his free time with his daughter and two labs.
