Practice Summary

Matt Daley represents clients in a broad range of commercial & business issues, ranging from corporate formation, corporate governance, litigation, and corporate dissolution. Matt represents businesses of every size and from virtually every sector of the region’s economy: healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, real estate development & management, forestry, and the non-profit sector.

Matt has experience in contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property issues, real estate disputes, and corporate raiding claims (non-competition and non-solicitation). Matt’s practice includes bankruptcy & receivership litigation and intra-corporate litigation, including derivative/direct shareholder claims, dissenters’ rights claims, and claims asserting breach of fiduciary duty.

Matt also represents clients in Trust and Estate litigation. This work includes will contests, claims alleging breach of Trust, and claims seeking to challenge or reform Trust and Estate instruments.

Matt strives to understand his clients’ mission and core values so that he can help clients resolve business issues in the most efficient way possible. When litigation is necessary, Matt represents clients in a variety of State and Federal Courts (both at the trial and appellate levels) as well as in mediation and arbitration.
