Paine Hamblen is pleased to welcome Ann Kalisuch as a 2024 Summer Associate. Ann grew up in Northern California and completed her undergraduate education at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She studied Business Economics alongside Social Justice and Poverty Studies which ignited a passion for the intersection of justice across the business, social/policy work, and the legal field. Prior to law school, she spent time managing a local independent bookstore.
Ann is pursuing a Juris Doctorate at Gonzaga University School of Law and is on track to complete her degree in May 2025. In addition to classes, Ann spends her time as member of Gonzaga Law Review and is the Managing Editor for Volume 60. She recently had an article published in Gonzaga Law Review Volume 59 entitled “From Exclusion to Ownership: Real Estate Investment Cooperatives as an Equitable Development Tool to Advance Economic Justice.” Presently, Ann in interested in pursuing a career in litigation. Beyond school and work, Ann enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, knitting, and exploring the local area.
