Paine Hamblen is happy to welcome Carolyn Powers as a 2024 Summer Associate. Carolyn is a J.D. candidate at Gonzaga University School of Law, anticipating graduation in May 2025. Following a successful first career in business and human resource management, Carolyn is excited to transition and expand her skills to the legal field.
Carolyn has enjoyed many valuable opportunities throughout law school, including an externship with Judge Tracy A. Staab on the Washington Court of Appeals Division III. Carolyn currently serves as a Trustee for the Washington State Bar Foundation and a Board member for Gonzaga Law Review, Volume 60. Her article, The Next Evolution of Religious Accommodation in Employment, was published in Gonzaga Law Review, Volume 59.
In her free time, Carolyn enjoys travelling, practicing yoga, quilting, playing cards, and solving NPR’s weekly Sunday Puzzle.
